15 indigent students get Rep Akande-Sadipe scholarship award in Oluyole

A total of 15 indigent undergraduate students from Oluyole Federal Constituency have been awarded scholarships by the member representing the constituency at the House of Representatives Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe.
In a statement by her Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Olamilekan Olusada, the House of Rep. member said the scholarship award was her contribution to improving the educational system in Oluyole Federal Constituency, Oyo State and the nation at large.
According to Akande-Sadipe, the undergraduates, some of whom would be paid another tranche of their scholarships this month, were selected based on merit from communities within her constituency, stressing that most of them are from poor backgrounds.
The House of Representatives member disclosed further that her intervention programme was not limited to sponsoring students to embark on degree programmes at universities, saying that “we have trained and will keep training indigenes in vocations they have shown interests in.”
Beneficiaries of the scholarship programme are Gabriel Akinade Oluwasegun, Willie Harry Oluwadamilola Esther, Ajibodu Olukunle Moses, Azeez Adekunle Kabir, Olasunkanmi Joshua Oladimeji, Ajibola Adesina Friday, Bello Quadri Kolade, Abdulrasak Salamat Kehinde, Adetona Mariam Omolayo, Salahudeen Aishat Adenike, Olalere Ololade Olamide, Oyewale Abolade John, Agboola Aminat Olapeju, Olalere Victoria Mayowa, and Gloria Chimeze.
Olapeju who spoke on behalf of the other beneficiaries commended the efforts of Akande-Sadipe for counting them worthy of the programme.
