2023: Former guber candidate, Akinlade, meets Ogun west APC leaders, calls for unity

Former Allied Peoples Movement (ARM) governorship candidate inthe 2015 general elections, Hon. AbdulKabir Akinlade, has appealed for unity among the people of Ogun West Senatorial District toward the forthcoming general election.

Akinlade made the appeal during a meeting with Ogun West APC leaders, held at Ilaro town hall on Tuesday.

He met with the leaders of the party in Ogun West Senatorial District to discuss critical issues ahead of the 2023 general elections, especially as it affects the zone.

Akinlade intimated them with his efforts in the last two years, while appealing for unity among the people of the region towards the forthcoming poll.

Speaking at the event, Senator Iyabode Anisulowo commended him for his bringing leaders of the zone together to deliberate the way forward.

Also in attendance were Mr. Akintanmide, Kola Lawal, Alhaji Suraj Olusesi, Mrs Iyabo Irokosu, Bashir Fadairo, Samuel Dada, Chief Dele Rufai, Mr. Sulaimon Awode, Chief Fatai Ajibola, Bayo Adeyemi, Dr. Ogunsiji, Rotimi Rahmon, Chief Wole Elegbede, and Bolanle Gbeleyi.

Other party leaders at the meeting were; Jamiu Yakubu, Saheed Alagbe, Ebenezer Oniyide, Josu Amos, Tosin Adeluyi, Rasaq Adeagbo, Moses Adegbite, Alhaji Alani Adejumo, Rahmon Alebiosu, among others.
