2023 Presidency: Tinubu to meet Senate, Reps APC caucus today

All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will meet with members of the party in both chambers of the National Assembly today, WESTERN POST has learnt.
While the meeting with the APC Senate caucus is slated for 2:30pm, his meeting with the APC Reps caucus will hold by 3:30pm.
The notice of Tinubu’s meeting with the senators was read on the floor of the senate by Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, on Tuesday.
The letter was signed by Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi.
“There will be APC Senate caucus meeting with His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu today,” Lawan said.
The meeting is billed to hold in the Senate President’s conference room.
The notice of the meeting with the House of Representatives members was via a message sent to members of the APC Reps Caucus by Hon. James Faleke which was seen by our correspondent.
According to Faleke, the meeting would now hold at NASS committee room 028.
“Due to some exigencies and with the approval of the leadership, Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu will now meet with the APC Reps Caucus at NASS committee room 028 today by 3:30pm as against the earlier schedule.
“This is to make it easier for Hon Members after sitting. All APC members are kindly advised of this change,” Faleke said.
WESTERN POST had earlier reported that the meeting with the House of Representatives members was scheduled for Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel and Suites, Abuja.
In a letter he personally signed and addressed to the party caucus in the lower chamber, Tinubu noted that the National Assembly members are aware he is running to be the next President of Nigeria and he has decided to meet the APC caucus in the House to inform them as an important and unique federal parliamentarians and true representatives of the people.
