Yunus Akintunde, the senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform agenda, describing it as a major step toward economic recovery and national development.
He made the remarks in Ibadan during the unveiling of the PBAT AGAIN 2027 Support Group Secretariat, noting that the initiative reflects growing public support for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Akintunde further revealed that although the reforms have come with initial economic pressures, they are beginning to yield positive outcomes in stabilising key sectors of the economy.
He said the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda is increasingly visible through improvements in infrastructure, including roads, rail, and power projects, which he described as critical to long-term growth.
The senator also praised the organisers of the support group, stressing that the new secretariat is a platform for grassroots engagement and mobilisation across Oyo State.
He equally reaffirmed his commitment to supporting policies aimed at national unity and inclusive development, urging Nigerians to remain patient with ongoing reforms, which he described as “necessary for long-term stability.”
