26 corps members to repeat service year as 1,586 pass out in Kwara

Twenty-six members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will repeat the entire service year, whenever they make themselves available in Kwara State.

Public Relations Officer of the Service in the State, Mr Morakinyo Oladipo in a chat with WesternPost Correspondent on Thursday in Ilorin said the 26 absconded from the national service.

He said that the 1,586 corps members who passed out on Thursday were the Batch B Stream1, who started the youth service in June last year.

“Twenty-six corps members, who absconded from the national service, will repeat the entire service year, whenever they made themselves available.

“Five other corps members, who violated some sections of the NYSC bye-laws, also have their service year extended,” he added.
