Mc Oluomo desperation will bring calamity and security challenge to Lagos, By Tunde Akanni

When a man is too desperate for power, self-centred, cruel, jealous, he would always think this world is a permanent place for him forever.

When National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) made MC Oluomo an ambassador for its campaign against drugs abuse, we all closed out mouths as usual while some praise singers saw it as their season to do eyes service. However, reasonable ones among the people knew it was a wrong call because these addicts are his lieutenants.

Whoever cares should check the rise of Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo from an errand boy to Alhaji Dania in Oshodi to his present position as state chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), one would know that a leopard would never change its skin.

Lagos state NURTW has had 19 chairmen before Musiliu Akinsanya as 20th. Always motivated by inordinate ambition, MC acted as pin in the throat of his predecessors and never allowed them a smooth governance and immediately he assume power he played his usual card of power mongering and selfishness.

As expected, when the national body of the NURTW broke his selfish and cluster fist on the chairmanship of state chapter of tricycle association by appointing Comrade Abdul-Azeez Abiola (Istijabah) as chairman and further queried MC Oluomo’s  arrogance to the directive of the national union where he was accused of using his boys (thugs) to deny the use of the former secretariat of the union at Abule Egba , I knew he would be up to something funny.

Musiliu Akinsanya is a man who hate to be challenged. He does not tolerate rivalry when it comes to authority but loves to dictate and see himself as lord. He sees forgiveness as sin and most people that have crossed his path like Kunle Poly, Talo Skibo, etc can tell their tales including the present Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede, whom he engaged in supremacy battle for twenty-two years. MC is the master of pretence in public while he is evil in his closet.

It’s unimaginable that Musiliu Akinsanya can lead a protest against the parent body of NURTW who played significant role in his emergence as the State Chairman of the union despite all odds against him.

The national body should take immediate action against him for disrupting the union activities and shamefully misleading members to accomplish his personal interest. He should be suspended with immediate effect and disciplinary action should be taken against him.

Election is around the corner, Lagos State government should wake up to her responsibility by ensuring security of lives and properties in the state and take decisive action on the recent illegal protest by Musiliu Akinsanya and his faction before members of the union would use it as bait to kidnap, rob and harass innocent Lagos residents.

NURTW is an organisation registered by the law, so where in the constitution did MC Oluomo derive the power create his own faction.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should stop this rascal from using his name to perpetuate rascality in the state. MC’s claim that he is one of the untouchable Tinubu’s men is tarnishing the good name of our adorable leader.

No wonder same character and attitude he advanced towards the purchase of Obaship of Oshodi with support of Kehinde Almoroof, his political son, whom he helped to procure the seat of apex position of the council through Asiwaju’s son seem to make him think he is invincible.

This attitude of selfishness and power intoxication by MC Oluomo and his cohorts have put the All Progressives Congress in disarray in Oshodi.

MC close allies should drum it into his ears that power is transient and no matter your strength you will become former. There is no forever champion in life.
