87 APC aspirants jostle for 26 Osun House of Assembly seats

Eighty-seven aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are vying for 26 Osun State House of Assembly seats in the 2023 general elections, the Screening Committee led by Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has revealed.

Ize-Iyamu, who met the aspirants at the party secretariat in Osogbo, the state capital on Tuesday assured that the committee would provide a level playing field for all the contestants. 

He disclosed that 81 of the aspirants bought their forms in Osun State while the other six purchased their forms in Abuja.

Meanwhile, some members of the splinter group, The Osun Progressives (TOP) were also sighted among the aspirants for the screening exercise.
