FG establishes Nigeria House Davos ahead of World Economic Forum 2026

The federal government has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), scheduled for January 19–23, 2026, in Davos, Switzerland.
The initiative, according to a statement issued on Friday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director (Information and Public Relations), State House, marks Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade and is aimed at showcasing the country’s economic reforms, investment opportunities and institutional capacity on the global stage.
According to the government, Nigeria House Davos will serve as a strategic platform to attract foreign direct investment, deepen international partnerships and enhance Nigeria’s global economic profile in line with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The project is being implemented under a public–private partnership framework involving key ministries, including the Federal Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the private sector.
Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd is the lead coordinating and executing organisation, working alongside Lex-Con Advisory Services Ltd and UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, as well as international technical partners. The structure is designed to combine public-sector leadership with private-sector expertise to ensure effective national representation.
Nigeria House Davos will function as a sovereign convening platform for ministerial engagements, high-level roundtables, policy dialogues, investment meetings and bilateral discussions. It will also feature cultural diplomacy activities aimed at promoting Nigeria’s creative and cultural assets.
Its five-day programme will focus on key sectors, including solid minerals and mining value chains; trade infrastructure and agriculture; climate investment, energy and environmental sustainability; digital trade and technology; the creative economy and cultural exports; and cross-sector collaboration. Issues relating to finance, legislation, investment security and investor assurance are expected to cut across all sessions.
The federal government noted that several countries and multinational corporations have long used Davos Houses as tools for economic diplomacy and global influence, adding that Nigeria’s participation places the country among nations actively shaping their narratives at the global forum.
