FCT Poll: Tension at Usafa collation centre over suspected result manipulation

Tension flared on Saturday at the collation centre in Usafa, Bwari Area Council of the FCT, following a disturbance at the venue.
The incident occurred at the collation centre located at LEA Primary School 1, Usafa, where officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission had begun arriving to collate results from all Usafa wards.

An APC party agent, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Western Post that the disturbance started when an unidentified man allegedly not an accredited party agent was seen carrying result sheets.
His presence reportedly sparked suspicion among party supporters, who feared a possible attempt to tamper with the collation process.
The development triggered protests and heightened tension at the venue, momentarily disrupting activities.
