Frank Edoho denies domestic abuse allegations, says matter before court
Popular television host and media personality, Frank Edoho, has denied allegations of domestic violence and infidelity made against him by his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho.
The former “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” host addressed the allegations in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, describing the claims as false and stating that the matter was already before the appropriate legal authorities.
The controversy followed recent accusations by Sandra, who alleged that Edoho had engaged in multiple extramarital affairs and also threatened her life during their marriage.
Reacting to the claims, Edoho said he would not engage in a public exchange over the matter because legal and investigative processes were already underway.
“Over the past few days, a number of grave allegations concerning my person have been circulated in the public space. Let me state, clearly and unequivocally, that the allegations made against me are false,” he said.
He added that he had chosen to pursue the matter through legal channels “where facts, not noise, will prevail,” while stressing that restraint should not be mistaken for weakness.
Edoho also apologised to his friends, colleagues, sponsors and professional associates whose reputations may have been affected by the public dispute, saying he regretted any discomfort caused by the controversy. The TV host further appealed for the privacy of his children to be respected, describing the situation as a difficult period for them and insisting that he remained committed to handling the matter responsibly and with dignity.
Edoho, who was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang before marrying Sandra in 2013, had last year revealed that his second marriage ended in December 2022, describing the experience as devastating.
