The proposed international friendly between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Ghana’s Black Queens, scheduled for Saturday, has been called off, Western Post gathered.
The match was arranged as part of both teams’ preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The reason for the cancellation has not been officially disclosed.
The 2026 WAFCON is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, July 26. Nigeria’s Super Falcons will begin the defence of their title two days later with an opening Group B clash against Malawi.
