Kate Henshaw reflects on life journey as she celebrates 55th birthday

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has celebrated her 55th birthday with a reflection on her life journey, describing herself as someone sustained by grace while expressing gratitude to God.

In an Instagram post accompanied by stunning photos and videos shared on Sunday, the actress reflected on her life’s journey, thanking God for His grace, life’s lessons and the gift of life.

She wrote, “I have lived. I have loved. I have lost. I have learned. I have fallen. I have risen. And through it all, I have been carried by GRACE.

“Through it all, I have been carried by GRACE… As I step into another year, my heart has just two words: THANK YOU. To the King of Kings for every chapter, every blessing seen and unseen. Above all, for the precious loan of life. Chapter 55 begins”.

In a separate post, Henshaw shared life lessons while expressing optimism about the new chapter she has begun. She said she looks forward to continued growth, greater happiness and shining even brighter.

Kate Henshaw is an acclaimed actress who has featured in several Nollywood productions since making her debut in the 1990s with When the Sun Sets, and she remains active in the industry.

Before her acting career, she worked as a model, appearing in several print and television commercials, including advertisements for Shield deodorant.

In recent years, the actress has received several recognitions for her contributions to Nollywood, including the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2008 for her performance in Stronger than Pain.
