The High Court of Lagos State has granted an interim order restraining actress Lizzy Anjorin Lawal from posting pictures of influencer Priscilla Ojo Mkambala and her family across her social media platforms amid a longstanding feud with the family.
Priscilla announced the development in an Instagram post on Friday, sharing screenshots of the court order granted on Tuesday, September 2, following an application filed by Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, Rakeem Mkambala.
The longstanding feud, which started with Iyabo Ojo, extended to her daughter, Priscilla, following her wedding to Tanzanian pop star Juma Jux. Lizzy had openly challenged Iyabo Ojo to a DNA test, alleging that Rakeem was adopted. In another video, she openly claimed that Jux had divorced Priscilla.
The court, presided over by Justice Y.A. Adesanya, also barred Lizzy Anjorin and any of her representatives from broadcasting, publishing or posting editorials concerning the applicants on the social media accounts listed in the court order, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Reacting to the development, Anjorin dismissed the court order, describing it as “dead on arrival” shortly after it was publicised.
She mocked the ruling during a social media live session, insisting that any legal case against her would fail. She further questioned why the alleged petition was publicised on social media before being served on her directly.
“Your case na dead on arrival. If you post court letter on any platform before serving person wey you wan go serve, that court case na fake court case,” she said.
