The All Progressives Congress (APC) Monitoring Committee for the governorship and House of Assembly primaries in Oyo State has called on all aspirants to accept the outcome of the exercise in good faith.

Chairman of the monitoring committee, Chief Ayo Afolabi, made the appeal while overseeing the governorship primary held at Ward 3 in Ibadan North Local Government Area on Thursday.

Afolabi, who also serves as the APC Publicity Secretary in the South-West, said the committee was satisfied with the peaceful and orderly conduct of party members during the process.

He noted that the committee’s observation so far showed a high level of discipline among participants.

“My advice to party members and aspirants is to accept the outcome of the results in good faith,” he said.

One of the governorship aspirants, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, also described the exercise as peaceful and credible.

He further urged other aspirants to support whoever emerges as the party’s flagbearer, stressing the need for unity within the party.

He also called for calm among members and urged them to work towards securing victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
