Actress Sarah Martins goes on date with rider who wooed her

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has gone on a date with a dispatch rider who earlier wooed her, saying the gesture was intended to show kindness and make him feel worthy of love.

The rider, identified as Opeyemi, had reportedly expressed interest in the actress after delivering a parcel to her. Sarah initially called him out on Instagram, expressing her displeasure at his conduct, and reported the incident to his employer for caution.

However, Opeyemi later claimed that he had been dismissed from his job following the incident, a claim the actress subsequently verified to be untrue after his employer clarified that he was only cautioned and not sacked.

In a follow-up post, Sarah shared a video of herself meeting with the rider. In the caption, she explained that she arranged the outing to make up for the backlash he received and to boost his confidence.

The video showed the pair spending time together, during which she bought him clothes and shoes. She also used the opportunity to solicit financial support for him to help improve his stability.

The actress clarified that she is not romantically involved with the rider and is not seeking a relationship. According to her, marriage is not her priority at the moment, as she cautioned the media against misrepresenting the situation.
