Actress Sharon Ooja welcomes first child with husband

Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja Nwoke has announced the arrival of her first child with her husband, Ugo, on Wednesday.

The actress shared the news on Instagram, posting maternity photos and revealing that she had given birth to a baby boy.

Expressing her gratitude and joy, she described the experience of pregnancy as a deeper understanding of God’s love and divine timing.

She wrote: “2025/2026… God truly ushered me into the most beautiful years of my life and wrote a story that only He can take the glory for. Pregnancy made me understand God’s love in such a deeper way… unconditional, intentional, and impossible to fully explain.”

Sharon also expressed appreciation to her husband for his love, prayers and support throughout the pregnancy journey, noting his emotional and spiritual care during the nine months.

She further thanked family and friends for keeping the pregnancy private, saying it helped her maintain peace throughout the period.

The actress referenced Genesis 21:6 and Psalm 126:2, expressing gratitude and joy over her experience and encouraging waiting mothers to trust in their own miracles.

Sharon also revealed that her son’s initials are “W.I.N.” and noted that she had long looked forward to becoming a mother.
