Actress Uchenna Nnanna celebrates survival after fatal accident

Popular Nollywood actress Uchenna Nnanna has shared an emotional testimony celebrating her survival and “rebirth”, one year after a severe hit-and-run accident that nearly cost her life.
In a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday, the actress shared photos showing the aftermath of the accident, with her scars on display. The crash shattered the bones in her leg, which had to be placed in a cast.
Nnanna also explained in a video that the accident occurred along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, where she nearly lost her life. She thanked God for preserving her life.
She captioned the post: “My Scars My Story and My VICTORY. I AM THE WOMAN GOD SHOWED GREAT MERCY. REJOICE WITH ME it’s my REBIRTH today. THANK JESUS FOR ME.”
In her testimony, the actress also shared recovery pictures with the public, explaining that the photoshoot was organised to mark the anniversary of the accident.
“This day, 13/10/2025, the devil came to challenge my God with an accident. Today, 13/10/2026, I’m here to testify God’s goodness in my life.
“Lord, are you not the one who saved me from that terrible accident that came to take my life on October 13, 2025? So, next time you see me overdancing in church, just know that this is one out of a million battles God has been winning for me,” she wrote.
The actress repeatedly shared words of affirmation in her posts, declaring that her life was a reflection of mercy, access to a greater realm, a walking testimony and a trophy of God’s grace.
Nnanna has featured in numerous Nollywood films, including Taking Chances, Insecure, Burning Desire and Leave My Husband. She has also produced works such as Bond of Bondage and The Plot.
