The Managing Director and CEO of Adediji Construction Nigeria Limited, Engr. Akeem Adediji, has begun the installation of 120 solar-powered streetlights across Offa in Kwara State, starting from the Halleluyah area and extending through adjoining streets to enhance night-time visibility and safety.

Engr. Adediji explained that the project is the first phase of a larger solar lighting initiative aimed at improving infrastructure in the town, adding that the second batch of solar lights is expected next week for installation in other parts of Offa.

He said the initiative was driven by his desire to make communities safer, boost night-time economic activities, and give back to his hometown, noting that solar energy ensures sustainability and reliable lighting even during power outages.

Known for his humanitarian efforts, Engr. Adediji reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development.

The solar project adds to his numerous interventions, including financial support for widows, the elderly, and small business owners across Offa, Kwara, and other parts of Nigeria.
