The alleged killer of Mr. Timothy Adegoke, a post graduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Dr Abdulrahman Adedoyin has renamed his Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ile.

Adegoke, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) student of OAU had travelled from Abuja to Ife to write his examination and was allegedly murdered on November 7, 2021.

Our correspondent gathered that Adedoyin has two hotels situated at different locations in the town.

Late Adegoke died at Hilton Honours Hotel, Ibadan Road, opposite High Court, Ile- Ife while the second hotel, called Hilton Hotels is located at Parakin, Ile-Ife.

The hotel where Adegoke died is still under lock and key after the body of the deceased was found in 2021.

However, the second hotel has been renamed Excellence Hall.

Our correspondent learnt that the circumstances surrounding the death of Adegoke in one of Adedoyin’s hotel might have affected patronage in the hotel, thus prompting the name change.

Adedoyin and six of his staff are currently on trial for the murder of Adegoke.
