Adeleke congratulates Oyetola at 72, seeks unity among Osun leaders

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has congratulated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola, on his 72nd birthday.

Adeleke, in a congratulatory message signed by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, on Tuesday, described Oyetola’s birthday as an opportunity for Osun leaders to strengthen peace, unity and cooperation for the development of the state.

The governor acknowledged Oyetola’s contributions to the development of Osun State and Nigeria, while wishing him more years of blessings and fulfilment.

Adeleke also noted that birthdays provide an opportunity to reflect on the past and present while looking towards the future.

He said, “In line with the admonition of our dear President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Osun leaders are encouraged to build bridges of partnership, collaboration and brotherhood, using the birthday of our brother, the former governor, as a pathway to peace, unity and progress for our dear state.

“My beautiful gift for the minister on his birthday is a dove of peace and unity. I felicitate with the leader of APC in Osun State. I rejoice with a minister who is turning around the national blue economy sector. Our state needs him and other leaders to continue to accelerate the delivery of democratic dividends and widen the net of good governance.

“In the spirit of oneness and common cause, I join the family and associates of Mr Oyetola to wish him a prosperous and bountiful birthday and more blissful years ahead.
