Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reasserted the positive effect of his administration on all sectors, stating that the people of the state have been experiencing impactful governance in the last three years.
‎
In a statement by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke highlighted the monumental infrastructural development across the state, noting that his leadership has prioritised citizens’ welfare while reinvigorating hopes and bolstering Osun’s economic prospects.
‎
He described critics as “unrepentant opposition activists” who have refused to acknowledge the progress recorded under his administration, urging residents not to be swayed by the rhetoric of those who, he said, inflicted pain on the people when they governed in the past.
‎
Adeleke said it was evident that his administration had delivered for the people, adding that the impact of good governance was visible across all sectors and widely acknowledged by Osun residents.
‎
He said the opposition, especially a party that “failed grossly” when previously entrusted with power, should accept reality rather than play on the emotions of citizens. He added that his administration had chosen to work for the people by clearing accumulated wage debts, ensuring career progression for workers, and providing financial benefits and healthcare support for pensioners.
‎
On infrastructure, he said Osun had never had it this good, as all parts of the state were witnessing government presence through bridges, new roads and massive construction projects.
‎
Adeleke added that healthcare facilities had been upgraded to meet World Health Organisation (WHO) standards, while public school infrastructure had been renewed and equipped to enhance learning.
‎
He noted that his administration also procured 31 new tractors with implements to aid farmers and boost food production — a feat he said the APC could not achieve in 12 years.
