Adeleke fulfils promise, makes street vendor Government House chef

By Deborah Oladejo, Osogbo –
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has appointed Oluwatosin Adejumo, a puff-puff seller he first met during a solidarity rally in Osogbo in July, as a chef at the Government House.
At the rally, organised by Osun public servants to welcome him back from a short vacation, Adeleke bought all of Adejumo’s snacks with ₦50,000 and promised her employment.

A viral video captured the moment the governor, seated in a bus, beckoned the roadside vendor, asked how much it would cost to buy all her snacks, and directed his aides to collect her details after learning she could cook.
On Friday, Adeleke fulfilled the pledge as Adejumo, an NCE holder, received her appointment letter at the Government House, Osogbo, in the presence of her parents.
