Adeleke mourns passing of Immigration ACG Olutayo

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed sadness over the death of Assistant Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr. Dada Joseph Olutayo, describing his passing as a colossal loss to the state and the nation.
In a condolence message signed by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke said Dada’s demise was a huge blow to the Nigeria Immigration Service, where his distinguished career greatly contributed to safeguarding the nation’s borders. He noted that both Osun State and Nigeria had lost a committed and patriotic officer.
The governor commiserated with the deceased’s immediate family, the Michael Dada Ogunremi family of Ilesa, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and all others affected by the loss.
“I am disheartened to hear about the passing of Mr. Dada Joseph Olutayo, an Assistant Comptroller-General of Immigration. While alive, he was a dedicated officer who demonstrated exemplary patriotism in his line of work,” Adeleke said.
“On behalf of the good people of Osun State, I convey my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the Michael Dada Ogunremi family in Ilesa, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and everyone touched by this unfortunate loss.”
The governor urged mourners to take solace in the life of impact that Dada lived and the remarkable contributions he made to national security during his career.
Adeleke prayed for God Almighty to grant the deceased eternal rest and give his family, associates, and loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss, adding, “It is my sincere hope that his good works will not die with him.”
