AFCON 2025: Nigeria to battle Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania in Group C
Nigeria will face Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in the group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco.
The draw, conducted on Monday night in Rabat, placed the four teams in Group C.
Group A comprises the hosts Morocco, Mali, Zambia, and Comoros, while Group B includes Egypt, South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe.
Group D features Senegal, DR Congo, Benin Republic, and Botswana, while Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, and Sudan will compete in Group E.
Defending champions Cote d’Ivoire face a tough challenge in Group F, alongside Cameroon, Gabon, and Mozambique.
