Nigeria’s Super Eagles and 23 other countries will learn their opponents for the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Thursday, January 25.

According to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the draw will take place in Rabat, Morocco.

CAF stated that the draw will involve the 24 nations that have qualified for AFCON 2025 and will be conducted at 19:00 local time (7:00 pm Nigerian time).

CAF further noted that the event will provide the national teams with an opportunity to assess Morocco’s excellent match venues, training facilities, and hotel infrastructure.

The 24 teams will be divided into six groups, each containing four teams. The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the round of 16.
