AfDB President Adesina, Victor Oladokun celebrate 46 years of unbroken friendship

Victor Oladokun, a famous media personality and broadcaster and President of African Development Bank, Akinwunmi Adesina have celebrated their 46 years of unbroken friendship.

Adesina and Oladokun, the former CBN Television World News and Turning Point anchor who is now Senior Adviser on Communication to the AfDB President have been friends from their undergraduate days at the then University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University.

The two bossom friends used the occasion of the birthday of Oladokun to show their long standing friendship.

Oladokun revealed the years of their friendship on his Twitter page on Monday, as he appreciated Adesina for his birthday wishes.

Sharing pictures of himself and Adesina, Oladokun tweeted: “To my dear brother and best friend #akin_adesina. Many thanks for your exceptionally kind and gracious birthday greetings and prayers.

“It’s pretty amazing what has transpired in 46 years of unbroken friendship. A big Amen to your kind prayers on my behalf. Much always!”

Adesina appointed Oladokun as AfDB Director of Communication in 2017 and upon clocking 60 years retirement age he was appointed as Communications Adviser to the AfDB President.
