The 9th edition of The All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) continues in Lagos, with activities set to run until Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites.
The festival officially kicked off on Wednesday with a special Welcome Soiree for nominees and invited guests, hosted by the British High Commission in Nigeria.
On Thursday, the Africa Music Business Summit brought together key stakeholders to discuss the business and future of African music. The week-long festival also features live performances at the AFRIMA Music Village, Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, showcasing top African artistes and DJs.
The event will climax on Sunday with the Main Awards Ceremony, broadcast to 84 countries worldwide. The Red Carpet is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM West African Time (WAT) and end by 6:30 PM, ahead of the 7 PM start of the main ceremony.
Adding glamour to the event, popular Nigerian influencer, actor, director, film producer, and television personality Enioluwa Adeoluwa will host the AFRIMA Red Carpet alongside Kenyan actress Claudia Naisabwa. Their star power and engaging personalities are expected to set the tone as Africa’s music stars and celebrities arrive for the awards night.
Tosyn of Style Infidel will serve as the night’s fashion commentator, providing insights on standout looks, bold outfits, and major fashion moments from the red carpet. He will be joined by Ariane Celeste Moua, who will share her reviews of the stars’ grand entrances.
AFRIMA Associate Producer Victoria Nkong said the selection reflects the awards’ vision of blending music, fashion, and African excellence on one global stage. “The AFRIMA red carpet has grown into a major entertainment moment where music meets fashion and culture. With Eni, Claudia, Tosyn, and Ariane, guests, artistes, attendees, and millions of viewers worldwide should expect colour, class, and unforgettable moments,” she said.
Nkong added that the red carpet is a global platform where African artistes and designers can express creativity, confidence, and identity beyond the awards, further highlighting Africa’s cultural and artistic excellence to the world.
