Afrobeats star Niniola Apata announces death of husband, Michael Ndika

Afrobeats musician and Grammy-nominated artiste, Niniola Apata, has announced the death of her husband, Michael Ndika, on Wednesday.

In a series of Insta-stories shared on her official Instagram page, the singer announced the passing of her husband and shared pictures from moments they spent together. She wrote, “My husband died.”

Expressing her grief, she added, “God took him. 13 years,” indicating that they had spent 13 years together before his passing.

Ndika was the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaReview, a multimedia platform covering afro-house and contemporary African music. The cause of his death was not disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
