Aiyedatiwa reiterates safety of corps members

Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare and safety of National Youth Service Corps members deployed to the state.
Speaking at the swearing-in of the 2025 Batch C corps members in Ikare Akoko, the governor announced the approval of a 216-bed hostel for the NYSC permanent orientation camp.
He said the project underscored his administration’s resolve to provide a comfortable and secure environment for new intakes.
Represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Segun Henry Omoyofunmi, Aiyedatiwa urged corps members to uphold discipline, loyalty, and service to humanity.
He encouraged full participation in the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme.
The State Coordinator, Mrs Kuburat Omowumi Bakare, commended the governor for the hostel project, describing it as a major boost to camp infrastructure.
She also appealed to employers and community leaders to support corps members in their postings.
Bakare thanked security agencies and camp officials for their role in ensuring the success of the orientation programme.
