Ajibola Basiru, Senate’s spokesman heads Oyetola’s campaign council

The Senator representing Osun Central, Ajibola Basiru has been appointed as the Director-General of IleriOluwa campaign organisation for the re-election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Prince Gboyega Famodun on Thursday unveiled the IleriOluwa campaign council, which is to spearhead the campaign for the re-election of the governor.

Oyetola will chair the council while his deputy and running mate, Benedict Alabi will deputise him.

In his reaction, Basiru said APC’s campaign will be issue based, adding that the ultimate targets are the electorate and not the opponents.

Basiru, who is also the Senate’s spokesperson called on members of the APC to come together for the “big task of re-electing Oyetola in the July 16 governorship election.
