Akin Alabi installed as Jagun Olubadan

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige Olakulehin I, has installed Chief Akinola Adekunle Alabi as the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland.

During the installation ceremony on Friday, Oba Olakulehin urged Alabi to use his new position to attract more developmental projects to Ibadanland.

The installation of Alabi, who represents Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, took place at the Olubadan Palace located at Oke Aremo, Ibadan.

The traditional decoration of Alabi with Akoko leaves was performed by the Oluwo of Ibadanland, Chief Abdulwahab Popoola.

The event was attended by several high-ranking chiefs, including Oba Kolawole Adegbola, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland; Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadanland; Oba Hamidu Ajibade, Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland; Oba John Isioye-Dada, Osi Balogun of Ibadanland; Oba Abiodun Azeez, Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland; High Chief Akeem Bolaji Adewoyin, Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland; and High Chief Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, Ekaarun Balogun of Ibadanland.

Also present were members of the House of Representatives, notable politicians, top government functionaries, and other dignitaries.
