Alaafin lauds Obasanjo, Adeboye on occasion of birthday, calls them visionary leaders

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, has hailed former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, as exceptional figures whose leadership and service continue to shape Nigeria’s future.
In separate congratulatory messages issued via his Media and Publicity Director, Bode Durojaye, the Alaafin celebrated Obasanjo’s 89th and Pastor Adeboye’s 84th birthdays, emphasizing the enduring impact of their respective contributions to the nation and society.
Describing Obasanjo as a “remarkable leader, living legend, and titan of our time,” Oba Owoade praised his courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication to public service, amid lauding the former president’s integrity and commitment to national unity.
Similarly, the Alaafin described Pastor Adeboye as a “true luminary whose life is a remarkable testament to faith, wisdom, and selfless service.” He highlighted the clergy’s tireless efforts in spiritual guidance, mentoring, and fostering of unity within the faith community, noting that Adeboye’s unwavering commitment con not go unnoticed.
The monarch underscored the importance of celebrating both leaders, saying that their lives offer lessons in courage, integrity, service, and devotion.
Oba Owoade went on to pray that both leaders would continue to be strengthened and guided by God in their respective paths, while wishing them renewed vigor and spiritual refreshment in the year ahead.
