By Deborah Oladejo, Osogbo –
The campaign organisation of a governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, has visited the families of victims of the recent attack in Akinlalu, Ife North Local Government Area. He pledged full academic scholarships for all the children of the deceased.
Leading the AMBO Movement team to the community, Oyebamiji also announced plans for the immediate construction of a modern police post to strengthen security in the area.
The former Commissioner for Finance said the AMBO Movement would spare no effort in supporting the bereaved families and ensuring justice for the victims.
“It is painful that the lives of some promising indigenes were cut short by these gruesome killings. But I can assure you that the perpetrators will not go scot-free. They will face the full wrath of the law,” he said.

He noted that former Governor of Osun and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, had been supportive and committed to ensuring that none of the culprits escapes justice.
Oyebamiji also announced that all the children of the victims would be sponsored through primary to tertiary education, with those interested in vocational training receiving full support and equipment upon completion.
He emphasised that the gesture was not politically motivated but a necessary step to bring relief to the affected families and restore peace to the community.
The Alakinlalu of Akinlalu, Oba Israel Oyewale Aborisade, and other community leaders, including Chief Kamorudeen Oyebamiji, Chief Fatoye Sunday, and Comrade Adeboye Musibau, commended Oyebamiji and the AMBO Movement for their compassion, empathy, and swift intervention.
