Amotekun Corps reassures Osun residents of maximum security

The Osun Amotekun Corps has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property in Osun State following the recent local government elections.

In a statement signed by the command’s spokesperson, Yusuf Idowu Abass, the Corps Commander, Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, emphasized that there is no need for panic over the current security situation in the state.

He assured residents that the Amotekun Corps remains on high alert and is fully prepared to respond swiftly to any attempts to disrupt the peace.

Omoyele urged residents to remain vigilant and report any security threats promptly to the Amotekun Corps or other relevant security agencies.

He stressed that the security of Osun State’s inhabitants remains a top priority and reaffirmed the corps’ commitment to preventing and responding to any form of criminal activity or violence.

The Corps Commander warned that individuals found engaging in violent or unlawful acts would be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law. He advised anyone contemplating such acts to desist immediately, stating that the Amotekun Corps would take all necessary actions to maintain order and protect the state.

Omoyele also addressed concerns over the massive deployment of police officers across Osun State, reassuring residents that their presence should not cause fear or panic. He explained that the officers were deployed for specific purposes and not to intimidate the public.

The Osun Amotekun Corps remains dedicated to ensuring peace and security for all residents, promising that the safety of the people will continue to be a top priority.
