Angry mob lynches alleged serial robber in Osun

A middle-aged man was on Sunday burnt to death by youth of Ireti Ayo area in Ilesa, Osun State for alleged stealing.
The man, simply identified as Loni, was said to have stolen a motorcycle on Saturday night, and hid it in a house in the area.
It was gathered that when Loni went to take the motorcycle out on Sunday morning, he was caught by neighbours who had been watching him.
The suspect, it was gathered had previous records of robbery with the police in Ilesa.
Commercial motorcyclists who were aware of his motorcycle snatching history, allegedly beat him to a pulp and later set him ablaze.
The police were said to have evacuated his remains to Wesley Guild Hospital morgue in Ilesa.
