The Ekiti APC Elders’ Forum has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the inauguration of the state’s first Agro-Allied and Commercial International Airport in Ado-Ekiti.
The group, in a statement issued on Tuesday, described the project as a landmark achievement for the state.
The statement was signed by the Chairman of the forum, Gabriel Oni, and its Secretary, Chief Odetola Babatunde.
“On behalf of the Ekiti State APC Elders’ Forum, we congratulate Governor Oyebanji on the historic inauguration of the first Agro-Allied and Commercial International Airport in Ado-Ekiti.
“This landmark achievement stands as a shining testament to the power of continuity in governance, a principle that has become the backbone of Ekiti’s steady development.”
The forum also acknowledged the roles played by former governors Olusegun Oni and Kayode Fayemi, as well as the Federal Government, including President Bola Tinubu, in the completion of the project.
“Today, Your Excellency has demonstrated uncommon leadership by completing and delivering this monumental infrastructure to the people of Ekiti State and to Nigeria at large.”
The elders further praised Oyebanji’s administration for its people-centred policies and developmental strides, while offering prayers and goodwill messages to the governor ahead of the festive season.
