APC governors further reduce presidential aspirants list to three
Governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress have reduced their preferred list of aspirants to three ahead of today’s presidential primaries.
The governors had after their meeting this morning arrived at five names which they sent to president Muhammadu Buhari.
The five shortlisted aspirants were Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; National Leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; his Ebonyi colleague, David Umahi and former Minster for Transportaion, Rotimi Amaechi.
They have however removed their two colleagues, Fayemi and Umahi from the list, leaving them with three aspirants.
The preferred three are Tinubu, Osinbajo and Amaechi.
