APC governorship aspirant Saheed Oladele escapes attack in Oyo

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State and Baàmèkó of Ibadanland, Oloye Saheed Oladele, has reportedly survived an attack while returning from a political engagement in Lagos.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Saheed Oladele Support Foundation, Maroof Asudemade, it was disclosed that Oladele’s convoy came under attack during the journey.
According to the statement, the vehicle conveying the governorship aspirant was allegedly hit by a projectile, although no casualty was recorded.
The statement suggested that the incident may be linked to Oladele’s growing political profile and increasing acceptance among voters in Oyo State.
