APC inaugurates Abdullahi Adamu-led National Working Committee

The new leadership of the All Progressives Congress endorsed by the National Convention was on Sunday sworn-in at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari led other party leaders and supporters to the event where he charged the new National Working Committee members to serve the party with dignity and fairness.
Senator Abdullahi Adamu is expected to begin the task of rebuilding the party in preparation for the coming general elections and restore confidence of all members and blocs within the party for party unity.
APC had a very fractious and contentious internal crisis leading to the Convention on March 26 which led to personal intervention of President Buhari to bring the disparate groups and interests within the party together.
With the new leadership now in place, it is expected the party will immediately set in motion the process to choose its presidential candidate and other candidates for coming general elections.
