APC inaugurates screening, appeal committees for Anambra governorship candidates

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated a seven-member Screening Committee for the Anambra State governorship aspirants, with former Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Shehu Shema, as chairman.

The committee was formally inaugurated on Friday by the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

During the event, the National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to conduct a transparent and credible screening process.

The Screening and Appeal Committees will be supported by a secretariat led by Tasi’u Mohammed, Director of Election Matters, and Ahmed Wambai, Director of Organizing, to ensure a smooth process.

The seven governorship aspirants undergoing screening are Chukwuma Umeoji, Obiora Okonkwo, Nicholas Ukachukwu, Paul Chukwuma, Onunkwo Obinna, Valentine Ozigbo, and Edozie Madu.
