APC launches e-registration in Ekiti, reaffirms Tinubu’s commitment to economy, security

By Boye Oyeyemi –
The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has reiterated its confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s ability to stabilise the economy and tackle insecurity as the party commenced its membership e-registration exercise in Ado Ekiti.
Party leaders, including Chairman Sola Elesin, Chief Jide Awe, and State Coordinator of the initiative, Adesola Gold Adedayo, spoke at the flag-off of the training for ward agents at the party secretariat.
Elesin said the digital registration was crucial to rebuilding the party’s structure, noting that the last presidential election showed the need for accurate membership data.
He stressed that the new system would help the APC determine its real numerical strength and improve planning for future political activities.
Awe warned trainees against proxy registration, urging them to carry out the assignment with fairness and dedication, describing the exercise as long overdue.
Adedayo said the initiative would ensure transparency and allow members to verify their status digitally, adding that the digital register would eliminate conflicting membership figures.
He explained that the process would run through a four-tier structure, from the state coordinator to senatorial and local government administrators, down to ward agents who will handle daily registrations.
