APC plotting to paralyse Osun PDP with legal cases – Ademola Adeleke

An aspirant in Tuesday’s governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP,) in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the state of inducing legal cases to frustrate the party.
Adeleke said this in a statement signed by his campaign organisation on Saturday, which was made available to Western Post.
The 2018 PDP governorship candidate however appealed to his supporters not to be distracted as he urged them to prepare for the Tuesday governorship primaries.
“I want to use this opportunity to call on delegates to troop out to vote on Tuesday. I seek your votes to be the candidate of our great party in this July election. I am prepared in all aspects to lead our party to victory.
“Don’t be demoralised by any insinuation. Exercise your right to vote as a delegate. I seek your endorsement. Our great party is on top of the situation with respect to developments in some courts. The legal team of the party is also doing its best to ensure plots to paralyse the party fails,” Adeleke said.
“Our party faces externally induced legal attacks. Agents of the ruling party are desperate to stop the party from participating and winning the state for the PDP and the people. But as they failed in the past, they will fail on this new attempt. It is however our duty to remain calm and be persistent to exercise our rights as delegates.
“We are set for Tuesday. It is my conviction that no force can stop the will of God and people.
Our ambition is to return government to the people for collective good. We will achieve that goal with the backing of God and the people”, he added.
