APC releases expanded Presidential Campaign Council list

The All Progressives Congress(APC), on Wednesday evening released an expanded list of its Presidential Campaign Council.

The expanded PCC list was released by APC National Secretary Senator Iyiola Omisore.

The new list comes in preparation of the inauguration of the PCC by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.

The APC expanded the initial 422-member PCC earlier released by its Secretary, James Faleke after rumblings within the leadership of the party.

WesternPost had reported that APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu wrote a letter to the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, accusing him of running a one-man show.

In the new list which was seen by our correspondent, Adamu was made the Deputy Chairman of the PCC.

Governors elected on the platform of the party had also complained of being sidelined, alleging that the names they submitted didn’t feature in the former list.

The expanded list had new directorates created. These include Finance, Planning, Grassroots Engagement and Orientation, Special Duties, Campaign Planning, Agro Commodities and Civil Societies.
