APC to Inaugurate 2026 National Convention Committee Wednesday

The All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Wednesday inaugurate its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee as part of preparations for the party’s forthcoming national convention.
The inauguration is scheduled to hold on February 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the NWC Hall of the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
A former Governor of Katsina State and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Bello Masari, will chair the committee.
Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, has been appointed Vice Chairman I, while the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, will serve as Vice Chairman II.
The Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has been named Treasurer of the committee. The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, will serve as Secretary.
According to a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the full list of leaders and members of the committee remains as earlier published.
The committee is expected to coordinate all activities leading to what the party anticipates will be a peaceful and successful 2026 National Convention.
