APC to present Tinubu with certificate of return as 2027 presidential candidate — Presidency

The Presidency has announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday receive the Certificate of Return and the flag of the All Progressives Congress as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the presentation will take place at the Bola Tinubu International Conference Centre following the nationwide collation of results from the APC presidential primary election.

The statement said APC governors, members of the party’s National Executive Committee, National Working Committee, National Assembly caucus, and other party stalwarts are expected to attend the event.

The ceremony formally confirms President Tinubu as the APC’s standard bearer for the 2027 presidential election.
