APC Youth Leader to begin nationwide mobilisation exercise January 21

The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dayo Israel has announced January 21, February 4, and 18 as dates for a nationwide grassroots mobilization exercise.

Israel made the announcement earlier on Friday via a statement which described the campaign as an initiative of the party’s official youth arm meant to unite its apparatus nationally for local canvassing of votes ahead of the general elections.

He said the exercise would involve the party’s foot soldiers in all the states of the country, adding that they would embark on a door-to-door mobilization to build support for the party and its candidates, particularly the presidential ticket of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima.

“All our foot soldiers will hit the streets on the announced dates and bring the message of Asiwaju’s Renewed Hope to their friends, neighbours, and even foes.

“The goal of the Youth Wing is to deliver 50 million votes and engineer a grassroots-led victory. This initiative is only one of many strategies we are deploying to achieve this.

“The execution of the campaign will be managed by the Youth Wing’s Campaign Council as the leadership of its ‘State Brigades’ are encouraged to collaborate with other relevant directorates to make it a success,” he said.
