Atiku, Sambo visit Aregbesola in Osun

Two former Vice Presidents, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to former Minister of Interior and ex-Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, at his country residence in Ilesa, Osun State.
Though details of the meeting were not disclosed, Atiku’s visit to Aregbesola comes amid growing efforts by opposition politicians to build coalitions ahead of the 2027 general election.
Shortly after the meeting, the two former Vice Presidents attended the coronation of HRH Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup as the new Owa Obokun Adimula, Ajimoko III, in Ilesa, Osun State.
