Atiku Abubakar just came back into the country from Dubai where he is based.

The former vice president urged the people of the state to protect their votes and disallow rigging.

“Why did you allow APC steal your victory in the last election? This state is a PDP state. Don’t allow anymore rigging in Osun State.

“They have been rigging Osun State election, the last rigging, they did it through the court. Protect your vote and bring PDP to power. God bless you all,” he said.

The party’s National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, said PDP is the only the party that can rescue Osun and Nigeria from the darkness of the ruling APC.

Ayu noted that Osun State under the present administration is under darkness, hunger, poverty.

He urged the electorate to come out enmasse on Saturday and vote for the PDP candidate in order to bring back light to the state.

“Let us work for Senator Ademola Adeleke for Saturday election to make a change because PDP will rescue Osun people and Nigerians from darkness,” he said.

Chairman PDP Campaign Committee for Election of Senator Ademola Adeleke and Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri equally urged voters to vote out poverty on Saturday.

Diri said Osun election is not for the people of the State alone but for Nigerians.

Receiving the party’s flag, Adeleke appreciated the people for trooping out in their large number to support him.

He vowed not to let them down, saying it is time to recover his stolen mandate.
