Atiku’s media aide confirms WesternPost story, says PDP presidential candidate in France for business

Paul Ibe, Media Aide of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has confirmed WesternPost’s report on his travelling to France.

WesternPost had reported that the former vice president, abandoned his campaign to travel to France for medical attention.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ibe however said Atiku was in France for business.

He said the PDP presidential flagbearer is in France to meet with “technical partners of one his business entity that was impacted by the Covid-19 global lockdown and the consequent economic downturn.”

Atiku off to Europe on business

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has travelled to Europe on business.

The former Vice President travelled last night on a scheduled trip to meet with the technical partners of one his business entity that was impacted by the Covid-19 global lockdown and the consequent economic downturn.

The meeting will also focus on conclusive discussions for a planned expansion of its production facility.
