BBNaija season 9: Ndinne pair evicted

By Tosin Brown
In an unexpected twist on Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ Season, the aunt-and-niece duo, Ndinne, comprising Nneamaka and Chinne, has been evicted from the competition.
The eviction came after four pairs received the least votes: Radicals (Michky and Fairme), Ndinne (Nneamaka and Chinne), Zinwe (Zion and Chinwe), and Flourish (DJ Flo and Rhuthee). After much deliberation, Custodians Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge, empowered by Big Brother, chose to evict Ndinne.
Despite holding Immunity earlier in the season, Ndinne was evicted even though they ranked second among the bottom four pairs, with 4.18% of the total votes. Audience votes placed Flourish last with 1.90%, Zinwe at 3.70%, Ndinne at 4.18%, and Radicals at 5.61%.
Ndinne had a strong start in the competition, securing victories in the Head of House challenge this week and the Custodian challenge during their first week. However, these early successes were not enough to keep them in the game, leaving 12 pairs in the house.
Speaking with Ebuka after their eviction, Nneamaka expressed surprise at their early exit but appreciated the experience. Chinne agreed, noting they would decide on their next steps outside the show.
Before the eviction, tensions ran high as Ebuka confronted Nne about avoiding conflict. Chinwe provided context on her conversation about sponsoring Zion to the show, and Rhuthee voiced her grievances about Wanni.
In the ensuing discussion, Mayor Frosh revealed his reservations about Sooj, and Victoria clarified that her relationship with her partner remains intact despite popular opinion.
